About your accessibility consultants

Website accessibility consultants, where the barrier meets the fix.

Egmer Consulting sits where two things meet: the barrier is real for a person, and it is fixable in the code.

No business owner sets out to turn customers away.

Plenty are doing it anyway without knowing.

Melissa spent her career as an occupational therapist, working with people whose bodies or brains make ordinary things hard, and watching what a single accommodation does for someone's independence. Tyler builds websites for a living and has watched barriers ship by default, framework after framework, on sites nobody meant to make exclusionary.

The goal is not a badge on your footer. It is a website where nobody gets turned away, and nothing waiting in your code to cost you.

WCAG AA is the floor, not the finish line.

Egmer Consulting audits against WCAG 2.2 AA. What gets recommended keeps changing, because continued education and people with lived experience keep showing what actually works. The standard is where the audit starts. Real people using the site is where it ends.

Above and beyond, responsive, and truly caring

Above and beyond

The audit does not stop at what a scanner flags. It covers what a real visitor meets.

Responsive

A reply within 24 to 48 hours, and a deadline in a letter goes to the top of the list.

Access, not checkboxes

The point is people using your site, not a box ticked on a form.
